Sandbagging is the practice of padding one's budget to avoid running out of money in the face of an uncertain forecast. I wrote a blog post on the topic and teamed up with Matthew Raphaelson, former banking executive and current Banking Chair for ProbabilityManagement.org, to write an article for the Bank Administration Institute (BAI.org) describing how probability management can be used to solve the sandbag problem.
